We seek to bring balance and union between the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind. 

We focus on unconscious processes as they are manifested in ones present life. The goals of this are personal self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present. 

Dreams are explored for unconscious material and symbols are explored for hidden meaning. Dreams are existential messages we send to ourselves. Attempting  to bring dream content into a person's actual life.

It is largely our thinking about events that leads to emotional and physical upset. With an emphasis on the present, individuals are taught how to examine and challenge their unhelpful thinking which creates unhealthy emotions and self-defeating/self-sabotaging behaviors.

The mind is made up of relatively discrete sub-sets, each with its own unique viewpoint and qualities. 

The basic principle of archetypal astrology is that the planets have a fundamental, cosmically based connection to specific archetypal forces or principles which influence human existence, and that the patterns formed by the planets in the heavens bear a meaningful correspondence to the patterns of human affairs on the Earth. In terms of individuals, the positions of the planets at the time and place of a person's birth are regarded as corresponding to the basic archetypal patterns of that person's life and character.
